Radio Station Manager provides services
Introduction

The Radio Reading Service is currently limited to patrons living along the Wasatch Front (from Ogden to Nephi) and in the Cedar City/St. George area and can be received only on a specially tuned radio receiver available on loan to patrons of the Utah State Library for the Blind and Disabled.

Newspaper articles are read from the Salt Lake Tribune, Deseret Morning News, and the Ogden Standard Examiner. Also included are articles read from magazines, old time radio programs, and special feature programs.

Broadcast hours:

8:30 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday (Rebroadcast from 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM)
7:00 AM to 10:30 PM Saturday
7:00 AM to 10:30 PM Sunday (Rebroadcast from 10:30 PM to 6:30 AM)

The Utah Radio Reading Service is a Program of the Utah State Library Division, Program for the Blind and Disabled. The Program is produced at the State Library Division with the help of dedicated volunteer readers and is broadcast on the sideband of KBYU-FM radio in Provo, Utah and KREC-FM radio in St. George, Utah.
